My Cross Shirt

I have been wanting to make myself one of these for awhile, so last Friday night I sat down and developed the pattern while catching up on DVRed episodes of Private Practice. Brian and MaKenna were at the Mavs game, and the other two kiddos were quite, so I got it finished in one night. I originally thought I could just draw out the big cross, then shrink it for the inner cross. Ummmmm, that did not work out. Eventually I perfected the method and was really happy with the final result.

I combined Amy Butler fabrics from 2 different lines and used a brown long sleeve shirt from Target. It is really soft and didn't shrink at all when I pre-washed it.

My husband snapped this shot to give a better perspective of how it is place on the shirt. Too bad the sun's glare prevented us from getting a better picture. (Well the sun and the fact we were using his camera phone.)
